i’ve done almost no personal art lately and all of it looks weird to me

i’m really tired of people giving catbountry shit “because she’s popular” and got in on the tf2 update and i will tell you exactly why
i first started reading cat’s fics back in 2010 when i was a young boy of 17 who had shit taste in fic. then i found cat’s tf2 fics on tf2chan and my tastes completely changed because i had actually found a talented fic writer for a fandom i gave a shit about.
i didn’t join tumblr until a full year after i had been on tf2chan, and cat was one of the first people i followed. surprisingly enough, she was my third follower.
i sent a few asks her way and she was always respectful and nice to me. sure, i’m sort of popular now, but cat has always treated me the exact same way, whether i had 3 followers or 3000. she is NOT just “making friends with popular people” and she is not “intimidatingly popular”
she is a genuinely cool and friendly person who has accomplished things due to her talents and i wish you all would get your heads out of your asses and feel happy for her.
